Rainwater Harvesting

Hydrocharged Geothermal Systems

Geothermal Rainwater Harvesting

Geothermal Coil Loops rely on constant underground temperatures to operate. In arid climates with very dry soil conditions, these hydrothermal systems are less effective. The thermal conductivity of water is the reason for this. Moist soil can be up to 70% more effective than dry soil at conducting heat. Our infiltration reservoirs placed over geothermal fields can effectively supercharge their productivity. Rainwater soaks into the geothermal bore-holes and conveys heat away as it returns to the aquifer.
